G.U.V Green Tomato Chutney

Great Uncle Viv's green tomato chutney is a family recipe that has been passed down for generations. A sweet and savoury chutney of homegrown green tomatoes, that works well with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Most excellent with cheese, but also a quick way to add depth of umami to meats. The high sugar content from the onions also makes this a quick and easy glaze for roasted meats: just add an extra kick of spices, like turmeric or cloves.
